Manufacturing Capabilities
Safeguarding twin-screw extrusion with precision-manufactured core components and full-cycle quality assurance.

Lesun’s new manufacturing facility was commissioned in 2021, occupying approximately 16,000 m², with 10,000 m² of production and building space. The company employs more than 50 people and has an annual production capacity of 4,000 m of screw elements, 1,400 screw shafts, and 1,000 extruder barrels.
We have established a comprehensive manufacturing system covering precision machining, heat treatment, inspection, and quality traceability. Our workshops are equipped with high-precision CNC machines, multi-axis screw-element machining centers, precision grinding equipment, and advanced testing instruments, satisfying the requirements from standard goods to complex customized parts.
Dedicated machining processes and process-control methods are used for high-torque screw shafts, large-diameter screw elements, high-wear powder-metallurgy materials, and tight-tolerance products to ensure that critical dimensions, concentricity, surface quality, and material performance meet design requirements. Stringent quality control in the process and comprehensive traceability give every batch consistent stability and reliability leading to less chance of failure, longer service life and more predictable production for the client.
Screw Element Workshop
The facility is equipped with CNC machining centers, precision grinding machines, dedicated screw milling equipment, and inspection instruments such as hardness testers and runout gauges, which facilitate a comprehensive process from rough machining to heat treatment, finishing, and final inspection.
Heat treatment processes are carried out following rough machining based on the material properties to achieve the optimal balance between toughness and wear resistance. The subsequent process of finish machining guarantees that the design requirements are met in terms of critical dimensions, tolerances, and working surface quality. The screw-element workshop consistently and reliably produces high-precision, high-consistency products by implementing standardized processes and full-process quality control.
Screw Shaft Workshop
A comprehensive system from raw material to finished delivery, equipped with large CNC turning equipment, cold-forming machinery, precision boring equipment, and advanced inspection instruments. The process rigorously regulates the mechanical performance, concentricity, and accuracy of the spline by means of precision turning, cold-forming, thermal treatment, and finishing.
Extruder Barrel Workshop
Precision boring, wear-layer treatment, finishing, and inspection are all carried out during the extruder barrel manufacturing process to ensure long-term running reliability and critical dimensional accuracy. Each operation is conducted in accordance with a standardized procedure, which is supplemented by dimensional inspection and metal-property verification to guarantee that the products are capable of operating reliably for an extended period of time under high-torque, high-load conditions.
Lesun has the ability to produce a wide variety of core parts in-house, including screw elements, shafts, and barrels, thanks to its mature manufacturing system and more than 80 advanced precision machining machines. This capability is capable of delivering reliable results for both one-off custom builds and volume production.
Complex structures
Multi-axis machining for precise manufacture of screw elements, kneading blocks, special mixing elements, and profiled parts, meeting complex process requirements
Full-size coverage
From laboratory machines through mid-size production machines to large high-torque models, with support for non-standard sizes and special-structure custom development
